Knotty Locks are specialized locks installed with the Knotty System. Knotty Locks began in 2006 and have been installed in clients from Texas, to Missouri, to New England, Atlanta and throughout the States as well as the United Kingdom and Africa, Knotty Locks continue to make life easier for all who adorn them.
The advantage of Knotty Locks is the simplicity of the system. The foundation of Knotty Lock are braids, installed according to preference, scientifically measured out to meet the desired width of the future lock. Since most women with tightly coiled hair are accustomed to braids, it makes locking from braids a seamlessly simple transition as the braid transforms into a matted chord of hair.
Knotty locks are maintained via a modality of hemming, twist-hemming,rolling or free-formed in a succinct direction and tension to get the desired look of a 'tendril' of hair in a beautiful coiled formation. Each modality is customized to the individual locker's preference.
