• • How long have you been natural?

                     My last relaxer was September ’07 and I did a complete big chop in June ‘08

• • What made you grow natural?
    I began a more conscious lifestyle…really taking time to read labels. And I realized that what was in a relaxer was basically toxic, so common sense kicked in BIG TIME!!! Why knowingly put something in my body or on my head that was so damaging???
    

• • Since you were natural when you ran across The Knotty Truth, how did TKT help you?
    The Knotty Truth is an EXCELLENT resource. It’s something I can go back to at any time, no matter how long I’ve been growing natural.   

• • What do you love about being natural?

                        I love its versatility!! Even though I ‘m rather lazy when it comes to styling, I love that I can do just about any style with success!! I also love that when I look       at my hair, it’s all ME…nothing added, just me. And guess what, being ‘just me’ is more than enough.    

• • Do you see yourself staying natural? I definitely see myself staying natural. I wonder now what took me so long!! LOL!

• • What is your natural goal? Of course I want to have super duper healthy hair and scalp. But I did make my son, who will turn 11 this month, a promise. I would not do a drastic haircut until he graduated from high school!!! Sooo, we’ll see where that takes me!!

    Be informed!!! Read your labels!!! It’s all in the SCIENCE!!!!!
